Its strangely disconcerting to find yourself reduced to a mere microcosm of the wilderness, which has been on the receiving end of human exploitation since time immemorial. No, up here, the tides are reversed in the most vehement sense. Standing there on the snow - ice picks jammed into the ground - one cannot help but feel a sense of humbling intimidation amidst the white splendor. The vastness of the impeccable landscape is too pristine; i even feel a tad ashamed of my footprints trailing behind.
A different kind of happiness is to be alone without feeling lonely. Finished the trek by grabbing a well deserved dinner at PJ's Fish and Chips. (:
